While this jacket isn't exactly conservative, it can go to the office or out on the town for a fresh look. The material is strictly polyester, but the stitching is done well, so it doesn't look cheap. I've had it for a year and it's holding up fine.
By Beth from Charlotte on 05/09/2008 Cons: Just didn't like the look, Poor Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really wanted a versatile light-weight spring trench with a bit of zing to it. My husband busted out laughing and said I reminded him of a stewardess from a Pan Am flight in the 1960s--said all I needed was the pillbox hat. I also thought the material felt like cheap furniture. I've sent it back.

Good Quality; Runs a little large By Molly from Southern California on 01/02/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Trench coats are always in style, but they are particularly big right now. I've been wanting one for several months, but I couldn't find one that I liked enough to spend the money on. When I saw this one in the catalog, I loved it immediately. It's so stylish! And the price is amazing. When I received it in the mail, the quality did not disappoint. It's a beautiful coat, and I love that it's water-resistant. The only thing that disappointed me is that the coat is quite a bit larger than I anticipated. But I liked it so much I didn't want to send it back. I've worn it a couple times, and I think I'll get it altered a bit so it's more fitted. Overall, it's a good buy. I'd get it again! :)
By JM from CA on 09/11/2007 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A very cute coat but wasn't quite what I was looking for. Beware if you have broad shoulders and bear in mind your body type when purchasing a belted coat.
By rockandroller from Cleveland, OH on 09/11/2007 Describe Yourself: Practical Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I guess I didn't know what "polytwill" meant but the coat is polyester, which is neither attractive nor water repellent, and makes the coat look cheap, not to mention it's not a good raincoat if that's the material it's made from (just my opinion). Also, the white piping looked really bad on, it looks good in the picture but bad when you get the coat on, sort of Captain Kangaroo-ish.
