It does sit shorter than some jackets, but it's a nice style. Do not follow the size guidelines posted here. If you usually wear a medium (8-10) in Aventura tops, order a medium. I ordered a large, since it said that size corresponded to a 10, and it was huge. I reordered a medium, and it fit perfectly.

The fabric is a neat idea, but the workmanship is not great, I do wonder how long it will hold together. For the price, though, I think that it is a good deal. I find the fit very boxy and large around the middle, but the shoulders are perfect. The drawstrings pull the waist in some, but overall it is still pretty big. Not a problem for casual, comfortable wear, and I think I will get a lot of use out of the jacket.

The design is casual tailored which is interesting. The fabric is warm and washable.The cord inside gives this jacket a fitted look if you want it. It is a good buy.
