By Barbour fan from York PA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a perfect weight Barbour for fall or early winter months. Colder weather it can accomodate a vest under it for warmth. I just took this and a vest to London/Ireland (November) and it was perfect for layering for the unpredictable weather at this time of the year. I packed the jacket and wore the vest on the plane, so it is lightweight enough and not bulky for packing. I found it true to size (US 12), generous around hips too. I have another similar Barbour quilted jacket which is lighter weight and better for milder weather. This is perfect for 40 - 70 F degrees by itself.
By Katrina from Pacific NW on 11/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great jacket, the raglan sleeves create a nice fit, better than my older Barbour jackets. The sizing is a little roomier than the Barbour usual. I love the brushed exterior, which is not water repellant, but can withstand Pacific NW showers.
