By megmag from Denver, CO on 10/19/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut Best Uses: Bad Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very cute little jacket. Perfect for cold, but not freezing weather. I read a review on here that suggested this would be okay for indoor use. Possibly, but I personally think it is a little heavy for that. I love the boxy styling--perfect length. The jacket is not lined, which at first makes it feel a little flimsy, but also makes it better for wearing a bulkier sweater or turtleneck underneath. Sizing is accurate.
Beautiful and such a value! By Just call me Laura from SF Bay Area , CA on 10/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the picture and thought it might be too "young" for my 55 year old age. NOt so - I got many compliments when I wore it. It is not so bulky as it would be if it were fully lined with the "fur" but warm enough that it will do for our CA winters. I think the material is actually somewhat a heathered red rather than a flat bright red, which adds to its appeal. It is very attractive. I can see wearing it over skirts etc to work or jeans for casual wear. I adore it and feel like Laura (from Dr Zhivago) in it! Yes at my age we still like to dress up!
Nice little jacket at a great price! Adorable and comfortable jacket. By Cella from Tampa, FL on 10/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable fit, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's too comfortable and too cute to sit in the closet. Fur cuffs on sleeves can be rolled down. There's no lining but the fabric is soft and not itchy at all. It wears and feels like a thick sweater, not too conforming. It can be worn with anything as day wear, evening wear, indoors or outdoors. This sure is a bargain for warmth, style, and comfort.
By Olga from Boston, MA on 09/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Exceptionally cute, Good Cut Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Granted, "very fashionable" isn't really a con. Only if you like plain jackets -- and then you wouldn't really be into something with fur trim would you? This jacket is not only cute and made me feel like I was a Russian spy in a Bond flick, but it also fit really well and was well-made. And since I'm more like a Russian grandmother than a spy, I appreciated that very much.
By MT Gal from MT on 08/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Versatile, Well Made Best Uses: Going Out, Holiday Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: LOVE this jacket! Perfect to wear when you want to dress it up a little and still look casual for fall! Jacket is a perfect fit--true to size. Fur is not "over the top", (doesn't look TOO trendy like some of the fake fur styles). Just cute.
By Lorettee from Denver, CO on 08/06/2009 Cons: Cheaply Made, Ugly Fabric, Unattractive Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Tasha's clothing but this was a huge disappointment. The fabric is cheap and the collar was sewn incorrectly. Unfortunately I have to send it back.[...]
Don't recommend for winter coat By Texas gal from Texas on 04/06/2009 Cons: Looks cheap to me, Not Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very disappointed; returned same day. NO LINING! Fur cheap looking, don't like seeing all the seams inside, it won't wear correctly due to no lining. It is a short jacket, falls just below the natural waist. I ordered this based on the high reviews & gorgeous photo. Big mistake-
By Shop For Life from Ontario, NY on 03/23/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the heathered effect of the fabric but I ended up sending this back because I remembered that fleece fabric has a lot of static electricity in the winter. At lease where I live, up on Lake Ontario - where we have harsh winters and dry heat all the time. For me, it would have been a fall/early spring coat. So, I never tried it on and can't attest to anything about the fit or cut. But it was a great style, just not useful for me.
