Comments: This coat is long enough to cover your butt, has a "relaxed fit" (great for layering), and LOTS of pockets. It's a bit "breezy," so layering is a must in cold weather. The zipper is cheap, though, and the teeth at the zipper bottom have already bent out of place if the zip mechanism isn't perfectly started.

Comments: I work as a naturalist, and the pockets on this jacket are perfect for me! There are five interior pockets (including two pen loops) and eight exterior pockets, two of which are large enough for field guides. It's very warm and great as an outer layer, but it's not waterproof so I'd recommend having a backup wet option. Unless you can find a shell that fits over the jacket. I bought more Moose Creek gear because of this jacket.
