It is warm, and light weight.
Everything about it far surpassed my expectations, and needs.
It is especially great in temperatures well below zero.
Regarding the fit.
I have problems with many coats because I have a large neck, broad shoulders, and chest.
Most coats just don't fit me well.
This coat feels like it was tailored for me!
The best coat I have ever bought.
Regarding the cost, the coat was a bargain!
Did I mention that it looks great?
It really looks great!

By jafo from alameda,ca on 11/27/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought it for cold weather use up in the mountains. It's been perfect for this. Snow & water seem to bead up, but haven't been long in any heavy rain. Hood's probably too big and falls forward abit. Would have preferred zippered pockets. Velcro is always kind of a pain. The down makes it light but still warm, and it's not as bulky as a parka. I do alot of walking in the woods with the dog, and I usually tend to overheat, but I haven't in this by just zipping it open abit. I really like it.
By Tarrant from Flagstaff Arizona on 11/16/2007 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pros:Warm, without the "Michelin Man" look of other down coats. Durable exterior which is rip and tear resistant. Comes with attached hood for those extra cold days.
Cons: Only one interior pocket, which is a large zippered one, and two exterior. The more pockets, the better, especially with everyone carrying cell phones,mp3 players and other electronica today.
