By Jean from Minneapolis on 12/27/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this for my son to use walking around his cold campus. He is very happy to have it...it is quite warm, tough, and while it feels stiff, it also feels like the wind won't be whistling through. I wouldn't take this coat on a trip as it doesn't fold up well at all, but for staying warm and taking lots of wear, this is an excellent coat. It does run quite large..my son usually is between a med and large, and the small fit very well.
I'm ready for cold weather By Wayne the Kraut from Westbrook, Maine on 12/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather, Working Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work in a shipyard on the Kennebec River in Maine. Winters up here can be brutal. I ordered a size larger so I can layer two or three sweatshirts underneath it if needed. It's a warm coat and built to last.
By karen the mom from johnson city, tn. on 12/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this at my 19 year old sons urging. After we recieved it, it was too small and VERY stiff. I ended up giving it to my handyman. I did not think it was worth paying the shipping to return it.
By Mechanic from Fayette, ME on 12/20/2008 Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband is a semi-retired mechanic, who spends his days repairing stuff for people who can't afford to hire someone else - which, since they can't pay, also includes us! I bought this canvas duck jacket to replace the ratty ones he is wearing now. I figured it would be both warm and durable, not to mention not showing the grease as much as his old tan one. He says it is too good to wear! At least he now has something he can wear to keep warmer when he is NOT doing filthy greasy work, and once he has worn it long enough, I expect it will eventually graduate to being a work jacket.
By meh from Brooklyn, NY on 12/16/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this to fit around myself and a baby carrier - it fits perfectly for a 44 Chest + a 4 month old child. It stays warm & doesn't look too huge when I am not wearing the kid...

By Mr. K from Washington, DC on 12/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sleeves are oversized and the jacket does not fit comfortably. When I put it on, I looked like a kid putting on his father's winter jacket, and I'm a big guy. I'll be returning this shortly.
