By SwtHome from PA on 12/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The wearer says it's warm and comfortable. Fits him well. Large metal zipper with easy to grab pull. Looks just like my son's name brand jacket that has the round chest pocket label but for 1/4 the price.
Great coat and great price. By Bob from Alexandria, VA on 12/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great, tough canvas coat with a thick layer of insulation. I thought the insulation was going to be thin (based on the "jacket" description), but it is quite thick and the coat is very warm. My only minor problem with the coat is that it is a little heavy, so not great for mild days. Also, I had to try two sizes. I wear a 40-long suit jacket and the medium fit me perfectly. The large was very big on me, probably good for someone with a 44" chest size.

Warm, multi-purpose, no frills coat. By Outdoor Family from Ohio on 11/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our son needed a winter coat. I was tired of buying coats that had polyester and/or down stuffing that after one washing tended to gather and "puff" out in weird places. Those types of coats were uncomfortable to him as well.
This is a warm, multi-purpose coat. He really likes it. It is washable (preferably cold water) without any filling to gather or puff.
This coat is very reasonably priced as well. It has a detachable hood and large pockets inside and out. It seems very durable for long-lasting wear.
By Real Adventure from Columbus, OH on 11/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wouldn't take this coat backcountry, but a very warm work coat. Great for extreme conditions, maybe a bit too much for general outdoor work, but does a great job.
By neil from ny on 11/23/2008 Pros: Durable, Great in cold weather, Warm, Windproof Cons: XL is really like 2xl Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Out door wear Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: large is a true large size. XL is more like a 2XL other wise the jacket is great. A really warm jacket tough outer mat'l. we are a fire wood company. The guys on the job tested the jacket to see if it was worth purchasing. The jacket is the best we have used for wear, warmed and keeping them dry in wet weather.we need to return the XL JACKETS FOR THE LARGE SIZE.That was the only problem.

To me, a MUCH better value than the brown brand. My only regret is that I only ordered ONE!!!!!
