By bluebell from san antonio on 03/02/2009 Cons: Bulky, Fabric creases oddly Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was a really well-made jacket but the fabric was not very versatile for my needs. It really is a great barn/work jacket but not dressy at all. The fabric creases with a slight change in the fabric color in the crease b/c it is waxed cotton.
nice waxed cotton w/ worst lining ever By firearmed from fiskeville, ri on 02/17/2009 Pros: Nice waxed cotton outside Cons: Bulky, Cheap lining poor design, Unflattering Shape Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The lining in this jacket is so cheap ( ugly plaid with nylon bottom and quilted nylon inside sleeves) that I would return it if I didn't need a short raincoat. I am ripping out the lining- it's so poorly done it's embarassing. The outside is well made and a great fabric- unbelivable that they could design and use the lining as is- it really cheapens the jacket and makes it bulky
By marg from sardinia, oh on 02/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have sent this product back for a refund. It just didn't fit my needs as a raincoat. Looking for a more flexable waterproof coat with full flannel lining for warmth for wearing at farmers markets. This one too dressy. Thanks
Beautiful - but runs small By Pasqualli from Mid-Missouri on 02/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Well Made Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This looked like a great jacket - just too small! A larger size was not in stock - so I just returned it.
Good value for your money By MH from Canada on 01/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For me this is a good jacket, very versatile item. The sleeves are a bit too long for me (Petite) I bought the small size and it has a lot of room for me to have another layer of clothing underneath. I usually wear a fleece vest which fit well with this jacket. It's high quality construction and material. Very good value for the money and the bonus it that it's made in England which is not easy to find these day at a discount price.

If you are familiar with the waxed type fabric, you will know this is great for farm chores and damp weather. Its good looking and the price was great.

By Carolina Gal from Carolina on 11/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Attractive lining, Durable, Nice color, Well Made Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great jacket for average cool/cold days in the Southeast. Jacket runs large, so order next size down, with still room for sweater underneath if needed. A little long for petite size, but appreciated when cold! Love the plum color!
