By Peter from Pasadena, CA on 10/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Superb quality - real Harris Tweed at a bargain price. This jacket is not for the coldest weather, however, being from California it is more than adequate. The jacket has longer arms than usual so keep this in mind. Great for those who are of the preppy/casual/jcrew persuasion.
By arust from durham, nc on 10/15/2009 Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is a good jacket. you aren't going to go wrong with Harris Tweed. The waist and the collar are a bit odd, but the tweed is great. It reminds me of my high school science teacher.

By Lou from NJ on 04/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice jacket for sure, however it has a very unusual fit. It will fit a person best if he is tall, very thin, has a narrow back and long arms.
I am of average build and always wear a size medium in jackets. The medium size of this jacket was way too tight in the shoulders and across the back, yet the arm length was a bit too long. I exchanged it for a large which seems to have the same length sleeve as medium. It is still a tad tight in the back/shoulders and a bit too long overall. I like the style so much that I have decided to put up with the less than perfect fit. With all discounts the jacket cost was very acceptable. At that price it is well worth it.

By KT from Denver, CO on 03/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Cons: Zipper on wrong side Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the first jacket I've bought that fits me in the chest/torso and the arms at the same time.
I'm 5'8" 170# with a 72" wingspan, or 34" sleeve.
I imagine it's because it's cut/tailored for Britons and not us portly Americans. Regardless, I'm quite happy with the jacket and wear it often.
By wms from Portland, ME on 03/03/2009 Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well-made but surprisingly light weight, and a bit small if you wear it with a sweater.
