J.G. By Tweed, it's for cycling too from Southern California on 02/16/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks good and is comfortable in an unexpectedly broad range of conditions. Breathable, not windproof, so superior moisture control. Keeps you warm on cool-to-cold days but allows strenuous activity like cycling in hilly terrain without overheating. Cut a little large, so you could wear a sweater under it, though I haven't done so.
By Chef Jim from Atlanta on 02/15/2009 Pros: A tweedy bomber jacket, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Draws compliments often, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Very classy, Warm with layers Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This may not last forever, so I will buy another.
It perfect... can zip up unlike a sport coat, and still looks dressy with a sweater and tie underneath.
After slogging through the rest of the reviews, I found the "wrong side" for snaps and zips interesting. I have always preferred UK sportswear, and this arrangement seems "de rigeur".. sort of like right hand drive in autos
and careening along on the "wrong side" of the road.
