Not a very warm coat, unless you always use a scarf and big mittens. I will be returning it.

I bought this coat because my old, [$] Kenneth Cole, down coat has a bad habit of leaving tiny feathers all over my clothing( the feathers come through the cheap, inside lining) This coat, however, shows no visible feathers peeking out anywhere, so I think it will do me well. I am 5'7", size 14-16, and the coat fits well. It is rather boxy, and I must roll the sleeves up one notch, but other than that, it speaks style and classy, and WARM! I bought the green color- is very dark green outside, and a lighter, but same intensity green on the inside. Very subdued colors. I will truly love this coat and wear it alot in the winter.

The sleeves do seem a tad short, although the turn back cuff suggests some adjustment is possible. I wish there were an internal snow guard at the sleeve cuff because of winter drafts. The cut is not quite as nipped in at the waist or as trim as the photo suggests. I bought this because I was looking for a nicely detailed, below hip length, winter coat that doesn't look lumpy shlumpy or overly puffy. I think this will fit the bill.

It is attractive, well designed, and it fit perfectly. The fabrication is very good. It was a true size 12. I felt that it was too heavy for my purposes as an everyday, cold-weather coat, but it would be very good in below zero temperatures!
It had the advantage of roll up cuffs, so that the sleeves wouldn't be too long for Petites.
