Amazing Performance in Cold and Wet!!! By Florida Fan from Central FL on 10/26/2009 Pros: Easy to Layer, Easy to Pack, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm, Water resistant Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket impressed the heck out of me last weekend when I wore it ALL day in the mid 40s pouring rain and I stayed dry!
I had on an acrylic short sleeve t-neck and a Barbour wool cardigan underneath. I was on a school campus (parent's w/e) in NH. I was walking in/out of buildings all morning and then spent the entire afternoon watching sporting events in the rain. My leather gloves and wool hat were so wet that I could wring water out of them. The jacket held it's shape and repelled the water. I was never wet and never cold. When I took it off, the outside was wet, the inner layer dry.
Even better - this jacket is so lightweight that I can roll it up and scrunch it into a carry on handbag and it takes up NO room and is light as a feather.
And there is more! Stepping off the plane in 80 degree Florida heat and it isn't going to cook you. Very versatile. Could function as a blazer on a cool day here in FL.
It is attractive and cut to be pleasing to a curvier figure. I'm 5'5" and 145 pounds and a UK 12 was perfect. Arms a tad long until you layer and then they shift up just fine.
Attractive, versatile, functional - WOW!
By Puchee from Sunny Florida on 10/05/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have this jacket in a navy and it is so classy. I ordered this in Sienna and it just washed me out. I'll definitely order in a different color so I can have more than one in my wardrobe!
Flattering to a curvy figure and easy on the hips.
Great jacket, too bad it runs large. By Kensingtonka from New York City on 09/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Loved the jacket, unfortunately it runs too large. I am 5'3", 132 pounds and I am swimming in size 8 (UK 12). Definitely need US size 6. Otherwise, the jacket would be perfect for me, as it is cut for an hourglass figure.

By bitercat from So. Cal. on 09/20/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Not usual Barbour high qu, Versatile Best Uses: Grt for SoCalif weather, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's as they say, "featherweight". As a result, I miss some of the Barbour details. The lining seems a little cheap. The sewing doesn't look like it's done very carefully.
