By Tacit from Santa Ynez, CA on 05/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, High Quality, Quite water-shedding Cons: closer to L size, Sleeves Too Long Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fabric is remarkable, water-shedding and seems tough (not all that sueded). Orvis seems to greatly oversize Mediums in general and this is no exception. Color a little dusty.
By an old guy from Northern VA on 03/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this shirt for a planned hiking trip in Europe this fall. Wanted a comfortable medium to heavy weight shirt that I could wash and it would dry in a reasonable (preferably overnight) time by hanging it up. Seems to somewhat unexpectedly meet my medium weight - comfort - wash & drying criteria. Will probably order another soon.
A jacket in autumn, a layer in winter By Dick from Westchester County, NY on 12/16/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Heavyweight Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Performance-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm outside every Sunday for sports. I will wait for this shirt to come out of the dryer, rather than wear another of about 25 others.
