I wear it to work in winter, or even as spring jacket. It is lined inside. Am a sz14, and the XL fits great. I have one of those steam washers, so after I wear it, I put it in the 20" steam cycle, therby avoiding unnecessary drycleaning trips. It is a beautiful, classic design, and you could wear it with any of the colors shown on the collar and sleeves decoration.
