Great belt but blemishes are noticable By zimbop from Southwest USA on 05/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, School, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These bison belts are the best style they ever made. With the simple plastic buckle they are hard to beat (this buckle style is easy to use and is not bulky like some of their other designs).
The two that I received with my recent order had very noticeable blemishes. One of them (color #35) had webbing that was slightly wider than standard so it was very difficult to feed through the buckle and tighten/loosen. The other (color #31) was ruffled a bit along its length... it seemed to have been woven with one edge shorter than the other so it sort of curves a little leaving a rippled edge on the other side.
Other Bison belts I've gotten from STP were much less flawed. Still, I kept the 31 and it's working fine. Incidentally, the weave they're using now seems to be more supple than the designs of previous years that were relatively stiff. Depending on what you like this could be a good or bad thing. The stiffer ones hold their shape better, the softer ones bend easier and are more comfortable, but don't hold the shape of the waist as well.
By Hooligan from North Carolina on 05/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice simple belt, buckle isn't very heavy duty but it should last. Best part is it's made in USA which is something you don't see much anymore.

By Stewart W from Madison, AL on 05/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice belt. I bought two this time. Neither of the two belts had the Millenium buckle, as advertised (both had the Ellipse buckle). Also, although both belts were in sealed packages, both had been previously worn, but probably only once. I bought 30 mm belts before that had the Millenium buckle and had not been worn. Those other belts would have gotten 5 stars. These latter two belts get only 4 stars for the issues listed above.

Nice web belt. Nothing special. By Fell off the Orient Express from Apache Junction, AZ. on 05/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile Cons: None that I can think of Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've got a thing for exotic leathers, so all my belts are alligator, crock, eel, ostrich, etc. I needed a plain belt that would stand up to wet conditions, hiking, and this belt was just the thing. It's a little narrow, but otherwise just fine. It appears sturdy, and looks like it'll handle getting wet with no problems. Although I live in the desert, I'm heading for Alaska on a
cruise and expect to get wet most of the time.

I really love these web belts. By Knightstick from Manchester, New Hampshire on 05/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product. I do however have a small issue with the width of the belt and buckle. It seems that the buckle is a fraction small in width so when the belt is inserted it fits very tight. I'm concerned about potential fraying in the future.
The smaller width belts I ordered do not have this problem, Belt slides into buckle with proper clearence.
