There was no variation in color. It was all black, no gray.
By AMF from South Florida on 10/11/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, School, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my husband who likes things that are classic but with a twist. The photo was perfect. What I got really looked like a nice, but basic black belt so we were disappointed. I sent it back and we'll try another. For what it was, the price seemed a bit steep. But if it lasted a long time it might be worth it.
By ML from Oregon on 09/11/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, School Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought from the picture that there would be more variability in the color based on the picture on the web, but it is quite uniform in color. My son liked it.

He wears it to work with khakis. It is a little wider than some other belts, but it is very nice looking and also goes well with jeans.
By Webbylex49 from Lexington, MA on 05/02/2008 Cons: Too wide for some pants Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice style and well made with a handsome finish. May be tight in some belt loops, or even too wide for your dress khakis if they are tailored for a thin belt.
