Cute boots but will need breaking in By Laurie from Northern Minnesota on 11/13/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very stiff sturdy leather and will need to be worn quite a bit before being broken in. They caused a slight bruise on the inside of my right leg where the top of the boot was rubbing the first time I wore them (even with knee high thick socks) but my husband says that boots like these typically need to be worn quite a bit to break them in so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. I bought them to wear outside as we live in the country with lots of animals to take care of and made the purchase with that in mind. I have not had the oppurtunity to find out how warm they are yet but we live in northern Minnesota and that oppurtunity will come very soon! I am still hoping that I can make them work because the foot part was very comfortable, it is the stiff ankle leather that I am having trouble with.
