beautiful jacket, poor cut for hourglass By Lanie from New York, NY on 11/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Versatile, Well Made, Zip-out insulated liner Cons: Bulky, Huge shoulder pads, Poor Fit Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Quality-wise, it looked very well made, and the leather was soft and beautiful. There's even an insulated removable liner, which the product description doesn't mention -- a real plus in the Northeast. However, like other Tibor coats I've tried on, this one has huge shoulder pads (why?) and same problem with cut. Cut is best for a tall woman with broad shoulders, small bust and narrow hips, not for hourglass shapes or women 5'5" and under. I ordered a size small, since I'm 5'4" and wear a 4-6 but it was tight in bust and hips, and baggy through waist. The shoulders totally overpowered me (as did the fur collar, though it was pretty). Sleeves are also too long for someone my height, and too bulky where they're set into the shoulders. My upper arms are not skinny, and they were swimming in the sleeves. I hope someday Tibor will start cutting its women's coats for women with curves.
