Glad I read the other reviews By culverwood from London UK on 11/23/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Having read the other reviews I am normally just on the edge of a 42 long so I ordered this as a 42 medium.
The sleeve length was spot on for me so only go for the long if you have really long arms.
By Pete from Washington DC on 11/08/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The material is very nice and I was very excited to be able to find a true long coat. However, the sleeves are a good two inches too long - nothing a little tailoring can't fix!
By steve from Canada on 10/22/2007 Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice coat but it fits big- I am a 40L (suit up to a 42L depending) and I wanted coat that would accommodate a suit. This fits like a 44L, even with a suit on the 42L is huge. My tailor cannot make this coat fit.
my specs;
6'1 tall
195 lbs
33" waist
coat is huge around the lats and waist.
Great value for camel wool By Yttergrund from Sweden on 10/15/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight, Nice fabric Describe Yourself: Conservative, Old-fashioned Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great value for the price asked. A similar coat made from pure camel hair would probably be sold for _at least_ €600 in Europe. The stitching is not made with the highest of standards as the seams can be seen for example on the inside of the collar. It is not made in Macedonia, but in the Dominican Republic which is still far better than if it had been made in communist China. The sleeves can be lengthened by your tailor as it has an inch or so of fabric left on the inside of the sleeves.
