The alpaca is awesome, but it sheds. It is especially obvious if you have a dark coat. I have a dark black coat, and it is quite obvious that the red sheds a little. If you do not want to use a lint remover, then you may not wish to purchase this scarf. The color is beautiful though.

Yet, it is brand new and made of alpaca wool, making it warmer and hypo-alergenic.

I love it but it does chafe a little. Not good for someone with problems with wool. Seems to not bother so much after I have worn it for a while. Unless I lose it not reason to think about buying a new one, it is so well made I think it will last forever.
