Just lovely, and a bargain By Miss Fancy Pants from Baltimore on 12/22/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Length, Soft, Warm Best Uses: As A Fashion Accessory, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the blue grey, and it is such a radiant saturated color. Lovely texture and fringe. Very classy.
By Maniac from Maine on 12/19/2007 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This scarf is stiff and a more casual design than I was expecting. It is woven or felted and cut from a larger piece of fabric, so the edges are bound with overlock stitching, making this more casual than elegant. Mine was not cut with entirely straight edges, so it bulges out a bit in places. But it is the stiffness that is the biggest disappointment.[...]
By Quality shopper from NJ on 12/19/2007 Cons: A little bit itchy, Edge is dull Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This scarf is soft, warm, and lightweight. The quality of Alpaca is not as good as the Cashmere. However, it is worthwhile with the price like this. It makes my neck a little bit itchy. The design on edge is rough and dull. I'd rather spend a little bit more to buy the cashmere scarf for a Christmas gift. I will return it soon.
A little itchy, not fine yarn By quality shopper from NJ on 12/12/2007 Cons: A little itchy, Design is plain, Look thick and dull Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Alpaca is soft and warm. I feel a little bit itchy. The yarn is not as fine as cashmere. The scarf is lack of design. It looks rough on edge. However, the price is very good comparing with the price of cashmere. If you have it for casual wear and you can stand the ichyness, it is worth while. Or, wait for couple of years until the technology is better to make alpaca a leading yarn.
By Arzu from Seattle, WA on 12/11/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Length, Warm Best Uses: As A Fashion Accessory, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a lovely scarf & great color. I was surprised at how scratchy it is, though. I have bought a lot of alpaca during travels in S. America, it is usually much softer than this

Don't BELIEVE a product by description By TRUSTWORTHY from Southern California on 12/05/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This Alpaca fleece scarf got A LOT of statics. My other Alpaca cardigans and sweaters ( six of them ) don't have statics. Only synthetic materials have statics.
It would be very soft and warm if it is made of Alpaca wool.
I would not recommend this to any one.
