No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Went hiking in the rainforest where I hoped it would keep bugs off my face but I still got bit. I got it to avoid using bug spray on my face. It didn't hold true to it's claim in my opinion.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Buzz off feature seems to work, one size only won't fit most guys. I am a girl with a normal sized head ( not small ) and had to remove inner headband so it would not slip up and off. That did work but the inside looks a little unfinished do to my alteration.

This is the perfect hat to keep the insects away from your face in a shady or woodsy garden and the sun off your head in a sunny garden. We also like the fact that it is machine washable.
It is a little tight; keeps it from falling off when you are bending over. It may fit better when my hair is shorter.
