It would make a great purse, but doesn't have much extra room for bringing lots of things with you.
By ABQ Bag Lady from Albuquerque, NM on 06/11/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: City bag, Day Excursions Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this bag! It's the perfect size for an all day outing. Plenty of room for the essentials (wallet, keys, phone) and extras (sunscreen, camera, water bottle). Sporty and stylish.
By Kindergarten Mommy from TX on 05/25/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Bag for Wee Folk, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I purchased this for my kindergartener as a school pack, and it's just the right size. She loves it. We can easily fit a small text book, a folder, a notebook, and pencils and her little wallet with room to spare.
She has also used it for weekend travel, and with careful packing we've managed to cram in (kindergartener sized items, mind you): two dresses, 4 pairs of shorts, 2 shirts, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of undies, a bathing suit, and a pair of sneakers (whew!).
It's worth noting that this bag is NOT Plum, as described in the listing. According to the Timbuk2 hang tag, the bag is burgundy with plum logo. Also, please be aware that this is not ballistic (shiny) nylon. It's a matte nylon fabric, and it does have a tendency to attract lint (which shows on the burgandy fabric). It features the usual waterproof lining, and is every bit as waterproof as the classic timbuk2 messenger.
Great handbag sized bag! Great color! By Jana Banana from [...] for unique jewelry on 05/16/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Urban natural Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this for my everyday hand bag or purse. Inside pockets for cell phone, pens, lip balm, key fob and one small zippered pouch for small personal items. But mostly it's just one big storage area. AND the strap is long enough to wear across the body so it stays put! Love this bag!
By Isabel is not my real name! from San Francisco, CA on 05/12/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Going Out, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this bag when i go out with my sporting outfit. this bag looks great with everything and i cant ask for more. Everything about this bag is great, except it doesnt have the velour that sticks onto the bag for secure measure. Other than that... two thumbs up for this bag.
Just what I have been looking for! By Jenn from Corvallis, OR on 05/07/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, High Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Daily use, Long Vacations, School bag, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Simple, Student Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I received this bag yesterday and I love it! I got this bag to take with me to Europe this summer, because I wanted something with the practicality of a messenger bag but better looking.
It is a little bit small, but I got a 3-subject spiral notebook, small textbook, water bottle, keys, cell phone, and wallet all into it easily.
