I would Danner buy their boots! By Magic Mike from New Braintree, MA on 06/30/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are used for farm/ garden work three seasons of the year. I bought them because of manuf. reputation and the price, of course. I don't mind the higher top but wonder if they were unlined they might be cooler in the summer. (The cool-max must help with that but I still am wearing my old boots on the HOT days)
By Evolving Gentleman-Farmer Retiree from MA & Upstate NY on 06/23/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Work in garden and barn Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Function-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The quick-lacing "hooks" on the upper part of the boot make putting on and removing a breeze. The heel-area fit was comfortable immediately-- not stiff and sore-making. The Double-E width (not available in far too many shoes/boots) gives plenty of toe room which I need for comfortable day-long wear.
By Alberta Clipper from Roseburg, OR on 06/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stain Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these danners for working in the shop, and around the house, some hiking and camping.
By Shademan from Florida on 06/17/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are a good value. I ordered a half size larger and wish I had gone a full size, anything made in China runs small. Materials seem to be good quality and though snug, I'm sure they will break in. I walked 3 miles right out of the box with no problems.

By froggirltx from Arizona on 06/02/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Stable Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot performs pretty well. I got some heel blisters the first time I wore them, but who doesn't with boots? I bought them to comply with wildland fire regulations. I only wish that more companies made women's boots so I wouldn't have to guess at a size!
