Cons:
Hot
Best Uses:
Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments:
I wanted rain shoes that could get muddy. I found them. Although my feet do tend to get hot in these, which is unusual for me, I think they are great value for the price. I really didnt want leaky shoes.

Good waterproof shoes
By Puddletown bike commuter from Portland, OR on 11/08/2008
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought these for short distance bike commuting in the rain. They are indeed waterproof, my socks haven't gotten wet. They are a little heavier than regular sneakers, but not too bad.

I'm normally 7 1/2, purchased Size 7 and are snug - should have ordered Size 8. I love the style, not your average utilitarian waterproof shoe. Is heavy but seems like it will last long. Not the shoe's fault the description provided wrong advice so gave it a 5.

Wore these dingy sailing since I wanted a waterproof shoes with traction. They worked great and were very comfortable. They are just a bit heavy and definitely look like hiking shoes BUT very functional.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. Didn't require any breaking in. I love them, but they are a bit heavier than I thought they would be, so more than likely I will wear them in winter. Too heavy/hot for summer wear.

too small
By Barbara from New York on 06/12/2008
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels half size too small
Width:
Feels too narrow
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I ended up returning the shoes because they felt tight and I have a fairly wide foot. I love the idea of an easy on/off shoe that still gives some support and is waterproof. They seem pretty heavy.

I wear for brief and long hikes into the back country and mountains. Excellent grip on slick pine needles and rocks. Extremely comfortable even the first time. One piece tongue construction really keeps debris out.
