Nice but uglier than shows online By Moetness from Orange County on 05/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I hike in them.
They are comfortable and I love to slip them on, but I had expected shoes that look more athletic/adventurous than clunky and geeky.
By Busy Mom from Coeur d'Alene, ID on 05/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Water Resistant Cons: Can get a little warm Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are for around town as well as short moderate hikes. They don't breathe quite as well as I had hoped they would.
By Amy from Iowa City, IA on 05/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought another pair of Bogs from here and loved them so had to get this pair too. By jgardener from Idaho Falls ID on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unfortunately, these shoes must be returned. I wear an 8 1/2 usually, and my feet are very narrow. The size 8 is too short for me, and judging from past experience, the 9 will be too long. The 8 in the Bogs slide is perfect.
Good protection for rain walking By Sparky's Mom from Chattanooga, Tennessee on 05/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn these shoes once since I received them (I use them only on rainy days). I took a five-mile walk in the rain and my feet stayed dry. I bought this pair because their tops are higher than those of another pair of Bogs I own (I was very happy with the low-tops except they let some rainwater in). If I wear extra socks or sock liners, they fit better (I have narrow feet, and a half-size was not available).

By Reba from Chicago on 05/03/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes felt a little heavy and clunky. Also, my feet pronate a little, and these didn't support that at all. I returned these shoes unworn.
