Great color, great jacket By mimjo from Philadelphia PA on 10/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket! It's actually not for a pear shaped person, but I couldn't find anything else with this yummy orange color, so I took out the bottom elastic and all is well. The sleeves are a bit long, but the cuff is snug so it's OK. It's comfortable in a cool room inside and also outdoors, but it won't block out all but the most intense cold. It's good in the 50's.

By Carla from Oklahoma on 03/03/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket felt very restrictive and didn't move well. Like the styling, but not the "straight-jacket" feel.
Marmot makes great fleeces.... By bushbaby from Palo Alto, CA on 03/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Marmot makes superb fleeces, and this one is no exception. It's thick and heavy outerwear, but it's not that straight-cut "forget fashion, just keep warm" type garment. It's curvy & cute; I love the trim, feminine shaped fit, which distinguishes Marmot's cut (which is rather like Mountain Hardwear's shapely line for women). But keep that in mind when selecting sizes; I think it runs true to size, but if you're not looking for a body-hugging fit, order up a size.
Extremely warm, well made jacket By Stylish mama from Washington, DC on 02/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautifully made, very tight weave polar fleece, good for layering under a down vest. The chest has a little extra room for layering which I had to get used to at first, but I seem to be reaching for this jacket to take the edge off a chilly day--very versatile. The blue is a gorgeous color.
By Mom from Atlanta, GA on 02/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Warm Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love it - fits great, soft and very warm.
By The Analytical Chef from Napa Valley, CA on 02/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the garnet color of this jacket. I love the color!! I had been looking for a blue-red and this was it! I live in Northern CA, and it's perfect to wear in and out of the house. I'm about 5'3", 130# and it's a perfect fit for my size. It's not like a typical boxy fleece jacket. So, if you are looking for comfort and style, this product fits the bill.
By Urbanbabyboomer from Boston on 02/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this jacket in indoor skating rinks when it's fairly chilly and I'd wear it around town in the fall and spring . It's comfortable, fashionable, and easy to wear with long underwear and a sweater underneath.
The Garnet Red is also a wonderful, rich color.
By High Desert Hiker from Albuquerque, NM on 02/05/2009 Pros: Good Weight, Sleeve zip, Warm Cons: Inacurate sizing, Poor Fit Best Uses: Cool Weather campinghiki Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sizing is inaccurate. I am a small woman (Size 6 Petite) and the Small was way too small. The Medium fits - barely. It does not fit well over heavy shirts/sweaters, but is good on hiking/camping trips when it cools fast in the evening.
