By Lenny & Emma's "Mom" from Indianapolis, IN on 01/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Hiking with the dogs Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered as a fleece layer under the Marmot Cloudlight Shell Jacket - very warm combination. Love the inside pocket. Only con: I wish the collar fit a little more closely to keep the wind out better (I have a long, thin neck).
By rajond from bakersfield,CA on 01/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great color. dense fleece. bought this as a xmas gift for my fiance. she loves it. use it for outdoor activites and it looks good for around town.
Not the right jacket for me. By Athletic Mom from Chicago on 12/30/2008 Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good weight for a multi-purpose jacket and the color (garnet)was attractive. It was a poor fit on me, sleeves were to long and with the zippers at the wrists so not possible to hem. It was snug around the hips and the sleeves gapped under the arm pits. It is a nice quality that I expect from Marmot. A better fit for someone tall and slender.
By Eman from Cougar, Wa on 12/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for my wife for Christmas because she needed a little something extra to keep her warm during our early AM commute to work. My gosh it fit the need perfectly; great fit, the material is a bit more dense/thicker than I thought it would be but in a very good way, and most importantly, she loves it...! Thanks STP!

Very good quality and fit By Missy from Redlands, Ca on 11/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought to wear when sailing underneath wet weather gear. Very happy with it, but I think they run a little small. Good thing a bought a size larger than I usually buy.
Everything I hoped it would be and more! By Cat lover! from Cibolo, TX on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautiful jacket from the stylish tayloring, soft, lush, beautiful fabric, rich color, to the nicely finished seams, edges and zippers. I would expect to pay a lot more for such a well crafted jacket. It is very soft, warm and comfortable. I wear it everywhere. I love it.
Too bad the cut is so odd. By Jackie from Bend, OR on 09/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great color choices, Warm Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement, Sleeves are cut big Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It would have been a great jacket because it contained all the elements I desired in a winter fleece. However, the cut is so weird I had to send it back. Going smaller did not eliminate the bulk in the arm pits. The waist and sleeves were consistent with Marmot design in other jackets, but the raglan sleeve was so much wider at the chest than at the waist that it appeared as though my chest size doubled when my arms were at my side. I would condsider other marmot items and steer clear of this particular cut/model.
The excessive amount available is a clue that it did not sell well when first introduced.
Poor cut bunches under the arms. By furz from durango, co- on 08/05/2008 Pros: Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The fabric and colors were beautiful as well as construction. Big problem with the cut however, due to the cut the jacket was terribly uncomfortable under the arms as the fabric bunched no matter what you had underneath. A big disappointment as usually Marmot is excellent.
By kat from Wollongong, Australia on 06/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this instead of a jacket to work. It has princess panels that give it a nice shape and was a steal at the price.
