By diart from Des Moines IA on 10/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading other reviews I was concerned about the fit of this shirt but it isn't a problem. The sleeves are long but look good rolled into a cuff. I like the color and feel plus the scrunchy fabric is great for travel and makes for a slimming look.
By Traveler from Chadds Ford, PA on 08/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to wear in the evening or as a coverup while traveling. The crinkled fabric makes it great for travel. I don't like the turned up cuffs they seem a little too large.
Nice shirt but sizes unpredictable By crabpaws from San Francisco on 04/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight, No ironing Cons: Sizes not consistent Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Frugal, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a little over 5'2", short-waisted, and usually take a Medium blouse.
I got one of these shirts last year and had the same experience: I had to order several sizes before I found one that fit. I ended up with a white in Large.
This year, the brown Medium fit fine (although the color is kind of dull). The green Medium was too large; I couldn't even get my arm into the blue Medium.
After exchanging a couple of times for other sizes, I ended up with a green Small in addition to the brown Medium.
So I now have this shirt in Small, Medium, and Large and they all fit about the same.
Good news is, they're comfortable, look good, and best of all, add to my collection of shirts that don't need ironing.
I would recommend to a friend only if that friend was patient about trying different sizes.
By STP addict from Seattle, WA on 02/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Cons: Relaxes out after wash Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt in the pea-green and the brown. Love them both. I'm an XS usually and bought the S, it seemed unusually form-fitting when I tried it on out of the box but the crinkles relax out after the first wash and now the shirt fits like the S it is. So don't be put off if it seems too clingy when it's brand new! I love that I can dress it up but never have to iron it.
By Paula from Syracuse, NY on 02/13/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Maybe I just need more exposure to the crinkled shirt look?
By QuiltingMom from Austin, Texas on 02/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a comfortable shirt which would be great to travel with. Could be worn alone or over a tank/tee. Dress up with skirt or slacks, or wear with jeans. Washes well. I like the brown color, but others might not.
By Keep It Simple in Utah from Salt Lake City, UT on 12/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shirt is cute, but way too big. It can be worn with lots of different styles. The texture is easy to care for and you don't have to iron.
stretchy but not too much By christine from Bay Area, CA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am large busted and often cannot wear button front shirts as they gap in at the bust. This shirt has enough 'give' without being too stretchy. It is dressy enough for my casual work environment (academic) but also a fun shirt for going out.
By ekdugger from Wyoming on 08/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a huge fan of ADVENTURA/SPORTIF clothing. But, there seems to be a sizing issue. The Med was to large. Returned and ordered down a size and the small was Barbie size. Oh well, I will still check out their clothing, as it usually fits.
High fashion, very slimming By flossie from Boulder, CO on 08/01/2008 Pros: nice colors, Slimming design Best Uses: Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Outdoorsy, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Fabric clings but stretches well, giving a tight, slimming silhouette, although it puckers a little strangely when one bends one's arms. Style is very contemporary and could be flattering if you're curvy on top. I'm not, so this style didn't work for me.
