Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The cinch strap around the brim doesn't keep the hat snug on my head. The adjustable chin strap can barely be felt, however, so the brim cinch strap doesn't matter. In addition, with the chin strap on, it's easy to slip the hat off my head when I walk into a store, letting the hat hang on my back with the chin strap around my neck. Right now (Spring) the hat is comfortable everyday which is how often I wear it due to me walking dogs for my pet sitting business. The hat is so light weight, it may even be comfortable in the hottest, humid Washington DC weather. If not, I'll just switch to a shade hat with a ventilated brim (which I also purchased from Sierra Trading Post)on dry days.
