It was too small for him, so he asked me to try it on. It was very snug, even for me, who is a full hat size smaller. It's also not very flattering.

You can't hardly see the flap when it is down, so it still looks nice. High quality hat. Would recommend ordering a size larger than you normally wear.

The brim of this hat is so tiny that it does not serve my purpose. Also the hat does not fit my head well. In addition, the fabric is woven in such a way that the hat makes me itchy although I have no allergy against wool.

I read the other reviews and ordered a size up and I'm glad I did. It fits well and feels secure, but it definitely would have been too small in my regular size.
