Compact and solid, straps are weird By NYU Commuter from New York on 07/30/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity Cons: The straps feel wide Best Uses: Commuting school Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use my pack to commute too and from work/school. I love the cordoroy computer compartment, which is closest to your back so you don't feel like you are carrying too much weight. My only complaint is that the straps feel a bit wide for me (I don't have a small frame either).
By Isaacs' mom from California on 07/22/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was purchased for my 11 yr. old for school. The quality is great & I hope it will last longer than any of the other brands he has used in the past. Since he drags his bags they always rip on the bottom. Hopefully he will not do this with his Timbuk2. The only negative is that I did not realize that a 17 in. notebook fits in the bag. My son does not own that size of a notebook (& will not be getting one) so the backpack does seem quite long. It would be nice if one was made for a 15 in.[...]Since my son was excited about receiving it I'm sure he felt like it took forever. Again, great product from Timbuk2 [...] Images shared by: Isaacs' momLittle boy with his big bag. Tags: Picture of Product, Timbuk2
"Just what I was looking for !" By College freshman from Austin, Texas on 07/13/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: "This backpack was just what I was looking for! I wanted something with a laptop compartment and I really liked the looks of it. I will be using it for school. The price was very good too!"
By justelise from Raleigh, NC on 06/02/2008 Pros: Good padding, Great Laptop Compartment, Very adjustable Cons: Not as big as you think Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the product as my everyday go-to-work bag, but also for my laptop when I feel like working outside of the house. It's a good size, but I feel like the center compartment could be much larger without a lot of design changes to the bag. The pockets on the sides could also be bumped up to more easily accommodate a 32oz water bottle. Good bag, but could be great.
By Prada85 from NM on 05/21/2008 Pros: Good padding, Very adjustable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: timbuk2 bags are always awesome, they are of the highest quailty for the cost. my 12" computer fits perfectly with room to spare. can't say enough great things about it, but it is definately more for women than men due to the size.
