By Zuko from New York, NY on 10/31/2009 Pros: Carries Vinyl, Easy To Load, Good padding, Large capacity Cons: Weak Front Pocket Design Best Uses: Airplane carry on, Day trip, Dj'ing, Overseas Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 1st off ... Own three (different Colors) and I Purchased one for my friend.
This bag serves a dual purpose for me. It holds vinyl Records very nicely and provides padding. I can even throw a slim mixer in the laptop slot and be off. Perfect bag for distant gigs. Also an Excellent carry -on luggage bag. It holds over a weeks worth of Clothing, toiletries and ancillary items with room to spare. I travel a lot overseas and this Bag has been invaluable. Only Flaw is the front pockets they open gull wing style and make it difficult when grabbing items on the fly w'out something falling out.
Awesome Bag.

Excellent large bag (with laptop pocket) By NMican from NM on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Large capacity Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The well-padded shoulder straps make this an ideal way to carry a larger laptop, for those who are fragile.
By Becky from RI on 06/29/2009 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity Best Uses: Overnighttrip pack What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a pack to use everyday for books, diapers, laptop etc. as I work, travel, and go to school with my 9 month old. This pack was way too big and combersome for daily use. I am returning it and found a normal size bag elsewhere...disappointing as I had hoped to find a Timbuk2 bag that worked for me.
By Runner from Idaho on 06/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this bag last year for a one week summer camp. I was able to take 7 different summer outfits, pajamas and 2 pairs of shoes. The backpack comes with a small bag which I used for my toiletries. I also used it for cross country meets. There is enough room for my tennis shoes, my uniform, my lunch, my blanket and extra clothes in case it rains. Great Bag.
By 96 About My Boy from Denver, CO on 04/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I did a ton of research before deciding on this bag and I am very happy with my decision. There is a ton of room inside and the padding for my laptop is wonderful. One of the reasons I wanted a bag like this is because I am going to be flying this summer and didn't want to check luggage. There is more than enough room to pack what I need in the bag, and have my laptop. I am more than happy with this bag.
By Bert921 from Laramie, WY on 04/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Highly Adjustable Cons: Hard to Load 15" Laptop, Small Capacity Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip, School, Work bag Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This backback is very comfortable and even though it is heavy it doesn't feel heavy because of the padding. The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to get a 15" laptop loaded into the padded compartment. It would be much easier if the zipper opened a little bit more.

My laptop fits right in and it is easy to slide in and out. Its a little bigger than I expected and I can fit a lot of stuff in it.

By Dactura from Sunnyvale, CA on 01/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Large capacity Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: side pockets are "pretty good" - would have liked them designed a bit more thoughtful. For example, when the net bag is unzipped, all your stuff dumps out because it faces down. Main compartment is roomy and better than my old Jansport. Computer area fits my laveno r51 easily enough. It's very tough and well made - but is heavier than the jansport. It holds more though... I guess I like it. I suppose I'd buy something else if I had it to do over again. You know... I'm married to the thing now - I have to like it. I might sew some pockets for my favorite stuff though... then I'll like it more... but I'd rather have some vietnamese person do it back in vietnam where it was made... I dont' know how to sew.
