I usually am a small to medium and found the small to be plenty big. Might want to order one size down. The nylon material helps make this a very warm vest for the weight and the pockets are satisfyingly large.

It works for the purpose. It is not thick and puffy so it does not restrict movement. But then it is not extra warm. The two deep pockets are nice for the hands. Nylon shell cause some static but that is expected. Overall, I am happy with it.
