By The mom from Marblehead, Ohio on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As warm as a vest could be, this is better. It allows your skin to breath but yet be warm. Very generously sized for use with big sweater. You never know what the weather will be in Ohio or Nevada, but this is great for hiking, shopping, and traveling. The fabric is a little stiffer than most, but does not get in the way. I bought two for my 28 year old daughters and they did not like the double collar, so they got sent back with the return label sent in the package upon receipt of product. That is service. I really like it.

Has a zipper and snaps, so sometimes takes a while to put on or take off. Also has cool pockets inside and collar can be high high to cut out wind.
A great fitting down vest By Janet from Mt Shasta, CA on 12/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The vest is great. I wear it to work, at school and on duty. It's warm and looks good on me. Usually down vests make me look like a bear, but this style is very flattering.
By fishinchick from Northeast PA on 11/29/2008 Pros: Great design, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest is way too tight for it's size. I always thought vests were meant to be worn over sweaters and layers. It's tight even with only one layer on. I returned this item.
Furthermore, this is quite possibly the loudest, crackliest fabric I've ever heard. The design is really cute though!

So far no feathers are escaping. Would recommend for outdoor and casual dress.
Mother of all storm flaps! By Mesh from Missoula on 11/15/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for my wife. Slightly roomy fit but was acceptable. However, this thing has two collars and two fronts, I kid you not! There was your regular zipper and outside of that, snaps on about 3" flaps on either side of the zippers. Call it the instant layered look, like you were wearing two vests if you didn't snap it. Must be a Euro thing.
