Comments: I used them this winter going up Mount Sutton after the first big snowfall. They gripped well on packed snow. Also used them to snowshoe at -15C or less. Wasn't cold whatsoever and didn't sweat.

Comments: The moment I put these boots on I knew they were not like any other. Usually insultated boots are heavy and very uncomfortable for me. These felt as comfortable as my regular hiking boots. I can't comment on durability as I have not had them long enough to judge, but they seem to be holding up just fine.

Comments: Perfect fit, very stable, warm, and exceptional traction in snowy, slushy, icy, hilly and gravelly terrain. Not overly heavy for all these benefits. True to normal Merrell sizing, go with regular size. Attractive, functional, and very warm and comfy right out of the box but I especially love the stable and secure feel while climbing up or going down icy, slushy, wet gravel mountain roads.
Try them. Good comfort, perfect suit.
