Comments: First time I hiked in these shoes, they were comfortable. For those in New England...I've worn these shoes for hikes in the White Mountains and they are the perfect shoe.
Excellent fit, no blisters....

Comments: Perfect fit, no blisters after a 3 hour walk on day of first use. I normally wear sandals (birkenstock) and always gets blisters from shoes even in casual use. Continuous walking for 3 hours without blisters is an excellent review.

Comments: I put these on out of the box and went for a hike....NO BREAK IN TIME. It felt like I had owned them for months. The fit is fantastic and the shoe is worth every cent! Merrell rocks! Once again proving to be a reliable buy.

Comments: Great for hikes in any weather; waterproof; felt small when I first tried them on, but they have molded and now fit my feet perfectly (only with regular socks though, not thick socks). Definitely love them so far.. no blisters or pressure points; comfortable soles; pretty light on the feet.

Comments: I got these shoes a week ago and have been able to test them in some pretty poor conditions. The Gore-tex held back the slow soak from plants saturated with the previous night's rain which I was walking through, and also kept the water out as I walked through mud puddles on the trail. I was worried the "mauve" might be too purple (because you can never tell by photos on a computer...) but they are fine, a nice earthy purple that looks great with a bit of dirt from adventures.
I would buy this product again.

Comments: These boots looked great and I was excited to replace my old, worn-out Merrells....but they rubbed on my ankle bones and were extremely uncomfortable. I am exchanging them for a different brand. I have a wide foot and have always found Merrells to accomodate the width.
Great shoes, a little tight in the toes

Comments: These shoes are great -- and very good looking. They are supportive and heavy enough for the offroad scrambling up rocky slopes that I love to do. They are a little tight in the toes but I wore them anyways, hoping they'd stretch out. If they don't I'll probably get another pair 1/2 size larger.
