By Coaster from Moss Beach, CA on 01/21/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, Good looking, High Quality Cons: No key clip, Uncomfortable strap Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Outdoorsy, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice little purse, but I was disappointed to find that all the neat little pockets were not inside the main zippered compartment, but in the large side compartment that only closes with a magnet. So, naturally, I want to put all the important stuff in the side compartment where it could be pickpocketed, or more likely, just fall out. Also, the strap seems to be a little rough and wide. That's OK most of the time, but for warm weather it means the rough nylon strap would be rubbing bare skin. And the strap seems just a little bit too short for cross-shoulder wear. And, the bag could use a key clip in either compartment, or heck, both.

It is a great size, holds alot, and is great quality. It would be nice if it had a divider inside the purse to provide further organization.
By foodgirl from the mountains on 01/01/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, High Quality Best Uses: Cute everyday bag Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can't say enough how much I love overland equipment bags. I have been carrying the same one for years and it has held up to multiple washings and two toddlers. This bag is much larger than it appears it has a long strap and can be worn across the body. The only con is lack of an interior zippered compartment. Yes, the feminine products are on the loose!
perfect size for everyday By naturegirl from New Hampshire on 07/18/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a really good size. It holds a lot, but it's not too big making it good for everyday use. The strap is nice & wide and stays on my shoulder. It's also comfortable. It's very good quality with attention to detail. My only complaint is that there are no inside zip pockets. I like to put a few loose cosmetics in those types of pockets. The outside pocket is really convenient for a cell phone, though. I would consider getting another one in a different color.

It is casual, works well for carrying all the stuff I need, it doesn't weigh alot,I wish it had an interior pocket but other than that serves its purpose well.
By QT3.14 from Seattle, WA on 06/30/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased 3 overland bags - out of all of them , this is the one I actually use. The main compartment is roomy and zippered, I wish it had a smaller zip pocket for things that get lost in the swarm. the exterior pocket has two microfiber lined pockets perfectly sized for a cell phone and ipod or camera, plus a few slots for pens. It is small enough to tuck underneath a car seat or squish into a carry on. The black color and the shape make it versatile enough to carry almost anywhere, and the fabric is tough and easy to clean. It's surely not a "sex in the city" bag, maybe more a "mom in the country" bag.
cute bag, OE's usual well-made standard By Darcy from Dallas, TX on 06/28/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Good Capacity, High Quality Cons: Lacks interior pocket, Short shoulder strap Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Shopping, Weekend Trips Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unlike my other OE bags, this one has a shorter shoulder strap, so it can't be worn across body (maybe if you are petite-- I'm tall, and it won't work that way for me). The front open pocket is magnetized and has pockets for an ipod and cell phone. There is not an interior pocket or one on the back. It isn't my favorite OE bag, but I must admit it is handy to reach in that front pocket and grab what I need without dealing with a flap or zipper. It is cute for errands, but I wouldn't feel as secure with it for travel as I do with the across the body styles that don't leave your ipod so vulnerable.
