When I first got the bag I thought it was way too small. But when I started to put what I needed in it for the weekend; I still had room for more. I love that it has a place for everything so you don't need to carry a wallet. Very easy to access everything without removing the bag.

Pros:
Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry
Cons:
Small Capacity
Describe Yourself:

Primary use:
Personal

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This item was smaller then I expected, but it holds everything I need. Would've liked a wider strap, but this one works well, adjusts well for a cross-body bag.

Great bag for someone that doesn't like to carry a large purse, but still wants to carry all the necessities. Lots of pockets, everything has it's own spot. I'm planning to buy a bigger version for everyday use.

I love Overland Equipment bags and have several of them. This one, however, was too small for my use. It's fine to use if you don't have a regular sized wallet you want to carry around.

Comments:
I use this for carrying everyday things, keys, phone, make-up, shopping lists and sometimes a camera. It is nice to wear it cross-body when shopping or doing active things but since it is designed/angled for that it is a little (only a little) awkward to throw it over one shoulder. Inexplicably the slots for credit cards are sideways which is awkward since they are inside a top zippered pocket. I am always surprised at how much it holds while looking so small. If I have the main compartment empty (I don't carry much) it does not have a cavernous empty feeling like you are carrying a bigger bag than you need. I have had it a month and no signs of poor quality. The chocolate brown is a nice neutral color. This bag is exactly what I have been looking for for years and glad I found it. it holds a decent amt of stuff has sufficient organization yet is small enough to tuck into my laptop bag. Price is great here and other sites don't have brown.

great, small organized bag
By Darcy from Dallas, TX on 06/15/2008
Pros:
Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality
Cons:
No open back pocket
Best Uses:
Family Trips, Long Vacations, Theme park, Weekend Trips
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a nicely organized little bag with room for my ipod, cell phone and digital camera as well as a few other necessities. I like the two secured zipper pockets as well as the magnetized pocket with all of the organizer features. It is a bit larger than the Placer, but lacks the placer's open back pocket which is nice to toss something into quickly (keys, tickets, etc) to keep your hands free. The long shoulder strap gives this bag easy access and a secure feeling. I prefer this old design of these bags to the new design. Glad I could grab some before they're gone!

At first, I was disappointed, because the Bayliss was smaller than it looked. But once I got used to carrying a smaller purse, I found that it held everything I needed. Also, good usable space- not too many organizer pockets, if you aren't one to disassemble your wallet. You won't be putting notebooks or extra shirts inside, but I easily fit wallet, checkbook, keys, lotion, hand sanitizing wipes, gum, lipgloss, pen, shopping lists, gift cards, a few other small items. It washes beautifully, although I put it in a delicates bag as a precaution. Because it has a flat "backing", it takes about a week of use before it conforms to your hip. But, this also means it doesn't bounce as much as you walk. The Bayliss is my first OE bag, and certainly won't be the last!
