Comments:
I purchased this because it looked perfect for traveling, and it is. It hangs close to the body and has a thick strap which makes it ideal for foreign travel when you are concerned about the safety of a purse. It holds much more than you could imagine from just the photo. At one point, I had a foreign language phrasebook, glasses, sunglasses, smaill hand sanitizer, pen, credit cards, cash, chapstick, lipstick, slim camera, and some rocks my children picked up an asked me to hold. This is an amazing little bag. I'm going to buy it in another color too.

Comments:
I use this product every day as my purse. It has three compartments that hold different things. The front magnetic snap compartment is easy to open. When travelling, I would only put in it things that I don't mind losing to a potential pickpocket. The other two compartments are zip closed and much more secure. The middle zip compartment is the one I use the most as it has card slots, and a larger volume to fill up. You could put it your passport in here easily while traveling as it is pretty secure. The back zip compartment would hold a digital camera or bird book or small guide book. The bag hangs well in front of the body, doesn't bounce so that I've noticed it, and has a strap that adjusts to a wide range of lengths. I wear it as a cross-body bag, altho' you could also wear it over just one shoulder. I bought three, am keeping one and will gift the others to sisters.

Quality Construction
By Suburban Housewife from San Diego, CA on 01/06/2009
Pros:
Comfortable contoured fit, Crossbody hands free, Easy To Access Items, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Short outings
Describe Yourself:
Practical, Stylish
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The Bayliss is like an evening bag, in that it holds only enough for short times when you know where you are going and what to expect. (It is the exact opposite of an evening bag in appearance, of course!) Great design, hugs the body and leaves hands free. Soft, pliable fabric and straps, no scraping or chafing, beautiful purple color, functional, balanced, wears just as well empty or stuffed. The fit is really like a fanny pack, hugging the hip without bouncing as you walk. You can wear it under a coat. Two fleece lined pockets, organization galore, easy grip zipper pulls. When you don't need to bring everything but the kitchen sink "just in case" this baby works fine.

Very practical
By Organized Gal from Northern CA on 01/05/2009
Pros:
Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-Oriented, Organized, Practical
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I needed a purse that would be small enough to carry around all the time, yet fit the basic necessities. Now I feel organized while toting my camera, phone, wallet, sunglasses, lipgloss, paper and pencil, and a few other things. Larger items, like a paperback book, don't fit, but I wouldn't want to carry a book around with me all the time anyway. It seems high quality, but I haven't owned it long enough to really be able to judge.

nice bag, but too small
By big red from kentucky on 12/23/2008
Pros:
Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry
Cons:
Small Capacity, Strap from slick webbing
Best Uses:
Weekend Trips
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
was a lot smaller than I had expected, too small for a checkbook or wallet of any size. this is my 4th overland bag and less pleased with it, would send back, but hate to spend money on postage,(half of what I paid for bag). it does have a lot of storage pockets, but can't understand why they put a strap of slick webbing, it slides of you shoulder, may try to change that. would recommend if you want a small bag and will stay close of you body.

This is a great little, casual bag. It hangs close to your body and has more than enough room for essentials (keys, phone, chapstick, even a small wallet).
