great, small organized bag
By Darcy from Dallas, TX on 06/15/2008
Pros:
Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality
Cons:
No open back pocket
Best Uses:
Family Trips, Long Vacations, Theme park, Weekend Trips
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a nicely organized little bag with room for my ipod, cell phone and digital camera as well as a few other necessities. I like the two secured zipper pockets as well as the magnetized pocket with all of the organizer features. It is a bit larger than the Placer, but lacks the placer's open back pocket which is nice to toss something into quickly (keys, tickets, etc) to keep your hands free. The long shoulder strap gives this bag easy access and a secure feeling. I prefer this old design of these bags to the new design. Glad I could grab some before they're gone!

Comments:
At first, I was disappointed, because the Bayliss was smaller than it looked. But once I got used to carrying a smaller purse, I found that it held everything I needed. Also, good usable space- not too many organizer pockets, if you aren't one to disassemble your wallet. You won't be putting notebooks or extra shirts inside, but I easily fit wallet, checkbook, keys, lotion, hand sanitizing wipes, gum, lipgloss, pen, shopping lists, gift cards, a few other small items. It washes beautifully, although I put it in a delicates bag as a precaution. Because it has a flat "backing", it takes about a week of use before it conforms to your hip. But, this also means it doesn't bounce as much as you walk. The Bayliss is my first OE bag, and certainly won't be the last!

I have been looking for a small bag to carry around the essentials (without the limitations of a purse) and this bag is great, for an even better price. It fits comfortably (I wear it across by body) and it is easily accessible.

This bag is made to fit close to the body and it holds every essential that one could need on a long- or short trip. Each section has integrated pockets and zippered compartments which keeps me well organized. Plus there is room left over for small purchases, too. The strap is comfortable and I wear the bag cross-body; quality is excellent.

I liked this so much that I turned around and bought two more. Now I have one in green, black and brown. The material reminds me of Carhartt. I have a feeling these will last a long, long time. The only problem I have...access to credit cards seems a bit awkward but can get used to it. Strap is long enough to go crossbody but can be shortened if needed. Hugs the body so it is comfortable and can be worn as a waist pack too. Love it.

I have a number of bags to juggle for work. This bag can be warn comfortably over the head, across the chest. The straps are easily adjusted for comfort. The pocketed inside makes it easy to organize.

Magnetic!
By The WildliferVerified Reviewer from Oregon on 04/19/2008

Easy To Carry, High Quality
Cons:
Magnetic
Best Uses:
Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-Oriented
Primary use:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
When I bought the bag I loved the size. However, the top flap is magnetic. So if you have too much stuff (i.e chapstick, pens, cards) in the top pouch the magnetic flap will not stick and stuff with leak out. I like that some bags have a zipper compartment in the very back, this DOES NOT have one. It also has a fleece lined area for your phone, but sometimes it is a pain to get too (my other purse had phone compartment outside). The fabric seems stain resistance *plus*. Overall a fairly good bag; not too small, not too big.
