By DS from Merced, CA on 03/26/2009 Pros: Easy To Clean, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, High Altitude, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the lightest cup I have ever seen. I am a minimalist ultralight backpacker, so this and a spork are the only eating utensils I pack. This is my plate and bowl for the main course, and my cup for hot coffee or hot chocolate afterwards. There is nothing lighter. I've used it for 3 or 4 trips so far and it shows no sign of wearing out. I also bought the bowl, but I don't pack it. It is easy to fold up and unfold once you have done it a few times.
By Boomer from Colunbia, MO on 03/17/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Cons: It's like doing a puzzle Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For more frequent use, I'd suggest a different product.
By Hibernater from New Hampshire on 01/21/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy To Clean, Lightweight Cons: Must use on solid surface, Not easy to assemble Best Uses: At the beach, Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Hard to assemble in cold weather. Be sure to practice assembly before heading for the woods. Very easy to clean as is just a flat surface to wipe clean. Takes no room and weight is near zero. Will like this better the more I get used to using it. Nice product. Not sure how long it will withstand the continual folding and unfolding, time will tell.
If you like origami . . . By irishlwyr from Detroit, MI on 07/01/2008 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is just silly. In the amount of time it takes you to construct your dining set, you could be finished eating! The folds in the mug and bowl trap food and liquid, making it annoying to clean, particularly at a dark campsite. The items are certainly sturdy, but it seems like there is are many better dining solutions.
