By VADIM from NYC on 07/14/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Long Run Time, Powerful Light Output Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Emergencies Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: it works well, a but glary as if it feels some light is hitting your eye, thus making it somewhat unpleasant to have on, but never the less it serves its purpose. I used it to setup a tent in complete darkness and also attached it to the roof of my tent at night when I needed light.
By Patchless Leader from WI on 07/08/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy To Adjust, Lightweight, Long Run Time Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Emergencies Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Batteries are bit tough to load. Overzealous springs, but the light served me real well. I like it's compact & lightweight design. Especially for the amount of light output & the long run time.

By rundog2 from indianapolis, in on 06/26/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was cheaply made. The battery cover fell off immediately after opening and we had to tape it on.
By Boy Scouter from Milwaukee, WI on 06/23/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was going to use this for a Boy Scout Troop. When taking the product out of the box, parts fell off the lantern. The light output was poor considering it would be used to light an area.
light weight camping led lantern By miffy the hiker from san jose, ca on 06/22/2008 Pros: Easy To Adjust, Easy To Setup, Lightweight, Long Run Time Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Emergencies, Survival, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i was pleased with this lantern when i received it. it has more led lights than the common lanterns i found on other internet sites. however, the screw on the bottom battery cover is too short and as a result you can't easily unscrew it. the screw just goes round and round without moving anywhere. plus the bottom of the lamp comes off too easily, especially when hanging it on my backpack and it swinging around. annoying but it is easy to put back though.
