By nellie bellie from sebastopol,ca on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity Cons: Leaky Valve, Poor Construction Best Uses: Day Trips, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The pack is ok, very spacious, comfy...but, the actual hydration pack has a very small opening to fill with water, makes the water taste horribly toxic and plastic-y and the bite valve is really hard to bite and easily comes off, causing leaks-- plus, the tubing was crimped/bent and causes a restriction in flow-- its very thin....
Nifty backpack for strenuous day hike. By Hiking Holly from Darien, CT on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Stable Best Uses: Commuting, Day Trips, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this pack to hike in NH's Presidential Range. Had it fully loaded with safety gear for a strenuous day hike on treacherous terrain, and hardly felt it. Also cool against my back due to breathable netting on back. Highly recommended for a day hike. Also looks cool!
