4 members in the family. 1 bag each. Right on the edge of 50lbs without stuffing. Wider than it is tall so they are very stable when rolling and stack very well on the trolley and in the back of the car.

I opened the shipping box and the pin holding the wheel housing in place fell out on the floor. I tried packing it to see if I liked the size and organization of the bag. I feel that the book style (bag opens in the middle) limits packing more than the duffel bag style. I returned it and did not re-order.
