The detachable backpack is a nice feature, as it can be used as a carry-on, then re-attached when pulling or carrying the main bag. A cautionary note: the backpack can become accidentally unzipped by tugging on it. It is therefore advised that the accessory strap be attached to the backpack's handle to avoid losing it in transit.

I will be returning it and have already ordered a much larger one. Backpack straps essential to me. Fine product, very well made, just not big enough for my needs. Could use more pockets.
