By K's mom from Cambridge, MA on 01/30/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My 4 year-old son uses them at school for outside play. They're very warm and water-proof. The only thing is the top part is elastic and it's hard for kids to pull on the 2nd hand by themselves. However, that's how the mittens keep the snow out and the hands warm. Guess you can't have everything!
Finally nice mittens for kids! By Kate from Salem, MA on 01/30/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Outside play, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These mittens are great for my little boy (age 3). They are waterproof and keep his hands warm and dry when he is outside playing in the snow. So much better than the thin, cheap mittens that you find in the stores for young kids.

By Jen from Charleston from Charleston, SC on 01/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These just didn't keep my daughter's hands warm in 30 degree weather. Didn't seem as good of quality as they appear to be in the picture
By HB Mom from huntington beach, ca on 01/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Mom, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my toddler as "extras". I liked the color and price. These are difficult to pull on and will likely go to Goodwill. The other mittens we own have velcro around the cuff area to make them easy to put on, yet still block wind/wet.
By taos mama from taos new mexico on 01/19/2009 Pros: Dry, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: we have a pretty big 16mo. old but the smallest size was still too big for him. they should be great for next winter though. he still asks to wear them, and we let him when we are strolling or hiking in the cold, but not when he is running about because they limit his mobility.
