By mom in MA from Western MA on 01/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These mittens are fine until the snow comes and then my kids hands are cold and wet within 20 mins. They call them ski mittens but they are terrible for skiing! Kids fall when they ski and periodically stop skiing to just play in the snow and in no time flat they need a warm dry pair of mittens. I have to have at least 2 or 3 pairs of these on hand just to get through 3 or 4 hours and even then their hands have spent most of that time cold and wet!
By pipxterra from Idaho on 01/12/2009 Pros: Dry, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You can go to local brick and mortar discount store and pay $5.00 more if you would like for lower quality children’s mittens. Or you can buy top shelf mittens like this and get quite a bit better buy. Sierra Trading Post description is accurate. I would highly recommend! Great for cold Idaho winter school days.

Great mittens for the price!!!! By Mom of a 2 year old princess from Saratoga, WY on 01/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my 2 year old...sizing is 2T-4T. Definitely on the 4T end...so she'll wear them next year I hope. That's why I rated them as poor grip and bulky. However, I am hoping she'll grow into them and they look like they'll be great. Excellent for the price!!
