Overall I like the style and fit for driving in the car and will try them this spring on my bike with a liner glove underneath.

No glove made keeps your hands as warm as a good pair of mittens, and these are the mittens to have! Since they are leather, they don't pick up lint and trash like knitted or fleece mittens do...they look better than the others also. We don't have lasting frigid weather here, but it gets cold enough at times to don the heavy stuff. I LOVE these mittens, and will enjoy them for years to come.

But looking closely at the leather, I can see why they're here on super special -- areas of the leather are all flecked with tiny defects in the finish. Maybe they're old or were stored improperly? They probably won't wear well. Don't buy to use as work mittens; use just to keep hands warm driving or on walks.
